Chris Brindley signs
Gresley Rovers have signed experienced central defender Chris Brindley who was released from his position as Hednesford Town manager on Monday.
Gresley manager Gary Norton has persuaded him to come to the Moat Ground on a short-term deal and goes straight into the squad for tomorrow's game against Bamber Bridge.

Norton is pleased to have won the chase to sign Brindley who scored the winning goal for Hednesford in last May's FA Trophy final against Canvey Island. He said: " I got a call on Tuesday from a friend who tipped me off about Chris possibly being available. He was going to take the weekend off after what had been a very stressful time for him and we hoped to speak to him on Monday, but he rang me at 10pm last night and told me he wanted to play, which I'm delighted about."
