Gedling pre-match news
New signing Colin Hoyle will be making his debut tonight in a pre-season friendly at Gedling Town.
Also available is Andy Simpson who is likely to make his first appearance but manager Gary Norton will once again use the clash primarily to look over a host of triallists.
Norton is hoping to to have his squad finalised before The Moatmen face Nottingham Forest in the Bass Vase on Monday night.

Said Norton: "Colin Hoyle and Andy Simpson will be in the squad tonight, but one or two first-team players involved on Saturday might get the night off.

"We will again be very much concentrating on the triallists and having a penultimate look at them before the Borrowash game — we want to go into the Forest game with our decisions made.

"We hope to have Sebastian Kalinowski involved tonight, or if not on Saturday, as he goes on holiday back to Poland after that and misses four games. He has looked very composed and we have been very pleased with him."

Norton is also thought to be keen on striker Ravi Sangha and former Mansfield Town frontman Richard Lonsdale, as well as ex-Halesowen midfielder Andy Spencer and Ben Davies.

Davies, the former Stapenhill midfielder, was tried at right-back on Saturday with the future of Allan Davies still undecided.

Other triallists likely to be involved include former Kidderminster midfielder Curtis Shaw, Jamie Pawley, who was at Mickleover last season, ex-Rocester keeper Steve Harris and striker Damien Powell.
