Rovers too strong for the Swans
A Gresley Rovers side which included first team players and a few trialists proved too strong for neighbours Stapenhill in a friendly.
Final score Stapenhill 1 - 7 Gresley Rovers
Stuart Evans and Richard Wardle both played for some of the match which will be a bonus for John McGinlay as he decides his squad for Saturday's game at home to Shepshed Dynamos. KO 12 noon.

McGinlay also chose this fixture to run out a few trialists and most of them looked impressive.

It was also good to see Rovers' strikers Parkins
