Stapenhill Pre-Match News
Gresley FC make the short trip to Newhall United tonight to face neighbours Stapenhill in the Steve Hackett memorial trophy tonight - kickoff 7pm.
The Gresley squad has more of a familiar look about it than the one that made the trip to Sutton Town in their previous game. New signings Adam and Tom Betteridge will be part of a squad that will also include Heather Athletic striker Royce Turville on trial. Turville has finished top scorer for Heather for the last two seasons and has been the subject of a 7 day approach by the club. Manager Gary Norton also includes trialists Andrew Hoderin, Chris Smith and Mark Lynas in his squad and is also hoping that Mark Stryzewski will be involved who returns from holiday today will be available. Norton is hoping to sign the big central defender but is in competition for his signature with UniBond league Mickleover Sports.

Jordi Gough continues his absence with a back problem whilst Jon Shales is unavailable through work commitments and Matt Hill is away on holiday.

Squad - Baldwin, Davies, Langford, Mawbey, Barrett, A Betteridge, Rolph, Slater, Timms, Lyons, Keenan, Marshall, T Betteridge, Elliot, Smith, Lynas, Strezewski
