Holbrook Pre-Match News
Gresley FC go into tomorrow's game against Holbrook Miners Welfare boosted by the addition of some new faces.
The signings have been made to boost the depleted squad over the next couple of weeks as Manager Gary Norton continues to be without the services of several key players through injury or unavailability. Attacking players Markell Bailey and Riess Morley have joined from Eastwood Town in a short term loan deal as has defender Nathan Morris who has signed East Midlands forms from Shepshed Dynamo.
In a permanent move winger Oliver Hancock has rejoined the club after a change in work commitments that had previously prevented him from an earlier return.
Norton also revealed that Chris Sleith had also signed for the club but only as cover as and when required as the wingers work commitments prevent him from regularly playing.
Unavailable for the game are Paul Edwards and Jon Shales who continue with cricketing duties whilst Rob Spencer is still recovering from a broken toe.
Spencer is expected to resume training late next week.
Andy Elliot limped out of last weekends game with a groin problem as won't be fit whilst Matt Hill is unavailable this weekend due to a family commitment.
Jordi Gough was expected to feature in a Reserve team game this weekend but his much awaited return has been put back after he suffered a slight reaction in training this week.
Strikers Stefan Marshall and Royce Turville will need fitness tests ahead of the game to check out progress with hamstring and thigh injuries before it is decided if they will take any part in the game.
