Shirebrook Town Pre-Match News
Gresley manager Gary Norton is hoping for a good cup run to add to the successful start to their inaugural season in the Midland Football Alliance.
A place in the second qualifying round of the FA Cup against Mickleover Sports and prize money of £1,500 is on offer as the Moatmen take on Shirebrook Town at the Moat Ground tomorrow - 3pm.

Norton will not be taking any chances and will field the strongest side possible against the Northern Counties East Division One outfit who beat Blackstones of the United Counties League in the Extra Preliminary Round.

Tom Betteridge and Mickey Lyons are away but Rob Spencer, Marc Goodfellow and Richard Butler return and Barry Woolley could also feature if he successful comes through a fitness test.

Jordi Gough is still some way off returning to the squad due to a long term injury which has seen him play in just one pre-season game so far this season against Shepshed Dynamo as a substitute.

Gresley from: Hateley, Hill, A Betteridge, Barrett, Barrow, Spencer, Slater, Langford, Goodfellow, Gordon, Turville, Dillon, Hanslow, Woolley, Butler, Coulson, Day, Keeling.
