Kidsgrove Pre-Match News
Gresley return to league action tomorrow after slipping out of the league cup against Romulus on Monday with a visit to Kidsgrove Athletic - 3pm.
Managers Gary Norton and Martin Rowe are hoping that their side can begin to see some consistency in individual performances, team performances and ultimately, in results.

"For a number of weeks consistency has been the key thing in my message to the player," said Norton. "This is a very competitive league and similar to all competitive leagues at every level of football, you can't guarantee to win anywhere. We go to Kidsgrove planning to come back with at least a point or preferably all three."

Gresley rested key players for the game at Romulus and Norton was pleased with an excellent performance from young keeper George Woodward, Jordan Nadat who scored another goal and several of the reserve team players who showed what they could do.

"Although we were disappointed to be out of the competition, there were loads of positives from the game," said Norton. "Jordan got another goal and Royce Turville got some pitch time after his injury."

Michael Nottingham, Marc Goodfellow, Richard Hanslow, Marc Strzyzewski, Lavell White and Mickey Lyons, who all missed Monday's game, should all return for the trip to Hollinwood Close.

Gresley from: Hateley, Roome, Nottingham, Strzyzewski, Gough, Spencer, Jepson, Barrett, Lyons, Goodfellow, Nadat, Massingham, Holmes, Langford, White, Hanslow, Turville.
