Scarborough Pre-Match News
Gresley make their longest league trip to Queensgate Bridlington to take on pre-season favourites for the title Scarborough Athletic - 3pm.
It will be a tough trip for the Moatmen who have yet to get a point on the board. Scarborough were once a Football League outfit before their demise and drop through the pyramid but they are steadily climbing back up and are expected to be there or thereabouts come the end of this campaign.

However, on last year's experience Gresley usually step up to the plate against the fancied sides with last season's game at Kings Lynn one of the outstanding performances.

Manager Martin Rowe is aware of Scarborough's potential knowing they are a good strong and physical side so it will be a tough encounter.

Gresley are without Marc Goodfellow (thigh) and Matt Roome who is still recovering from the horrendous mouth injury collected in the first game of the season at home to Mickleover Sports.

Danny Holmes is also unavailable along with Jordan Nadat whose back problem has prevented him from making an appearance since the middle of July.

New Zealander Hayden Johns is available after having his visa queries resolved and will probably slot into right back replacing Holmes who played there against Newcastle Town in midweek.
