Brigg Town Pre-Match News
Back in September Gresley gave Brigg a spanking at the Moat Ground running riot in a 10-0 victory but manager Wayne Thornhill is not expecting such a one sided affair when his side make the long journey to the Hawthorns tomorrow (Saturday) - kick off 3pm.
The Zebras were left shell shocked at the end of the game and they will certainly be looking to put that beating behind them when the face the Moatmen. Although they are stranded at the bottom of the table with just three wins to their name in the league and with ninety-one goals scored against them, Thornhill will be warning his side not to be complacent or to take it as a job done before they even arrive. Brigg will certainly be up for the fight so Gresley will need to give them every respect if they are going to return to South Derbyshire with anything to show from their travels.

Thornhill will have top scorer Kieran O'Connell available after completing his four game ban and he will be eager to get back to adding to his goal tally. Also available will be new signings Isaac Minott and Zibusiso Nyatito whose registrations with the league have been confirmed making both available for tomorrow's game.

Nyatito, who featured in a few games last season, agreed to sign for the club although his appearances could be limited due to work commitments. Striker Minott joins the club from East Midland's Counties outfit Holbrook Sports where he's been a prolific scorer for them this season netting 25 goals in 24 games.

Defender Mitch Hanson misses the second of his three game ban but fellow defender Jake Carlisle should be available after missing last week's win over Loughborough as a precaution because of a sight injury picked up against Long Eaton in the Derbyshire Senior Cup.

Thornhill will definitely be without Liam Guest who returned to the United States this week after playing for the Moatmen while in the UK for the Christmas holiday. There is some good news for Gresley as John Guy has resumed training after a long absence due to a knee injury.
