James Lindley Update
James Lindley

James Lindley

During Saturday's game against Morecambe, James Lindley was substituted after an injury to his eye.
He was taken to hospital in Morecambe, where it was discovered that he was suffering from a fractured eye socket, with part of the eye muscle lodged in the fracture.

James has now been transferred to the Queens Medical Centre in Nottingham where he will undergo an operation to fix the problem.

John McGinlay stood in for the injured keeper for the last 30 minutes of the game. Reserve keeper Ian Roberts, who was in the squad, was not named as a substitute so couldn't replace Lindley and the usual "keeper replacement" Ian Bluck was suspended for the match.

We'll let you know more as soon as can.
