Calling All Gresleyites!!
Don’t forget we have our fundraising day at the club this coming Sunday with doors opening from 12 noon. Rain or shine organiser of the event Gary Norton is appealing to anyone connected with the club to pop up at some point in the afternoon and help support the club raise some much needed funds.
Discussing the plans for the day Gary told the clubs website, “We are really hoping the local community get behind the event. Its been some years since we have tried to organise something like this and we are hoping people will support it and help us raise some much needed funds along the way.

The junior section will be doing some stuff on the pitch from around 12.30 and then at 2pm we have the much anticipated “heavyweight” clash between Gresley FC Supporters Club and Burton Albion Supporters club renewing the Moat Ground rivalries between red and yellow on the Moat ground once more.”

“The main event kicks off around 3pm with a reunion game of ex Gresley stars of the past turning out giving our supporters a chance to see them in action once more.”

Please spread to word and bring the family down for what should be a great afternoon at the Moat Ground and a chance to catch up and remember the good old days.

Entrance to the event will be £3 for Adults, £1 for children U16 & U7’s will be free.

PS, "ANYONE WILLING TO DONATE PRIZES TOWARDS THE RAFFLE SHOULD BRING THEIR DONATIONS ON SUNDAY AND PASS ONTO GARY NORTON OR ANY OTHER OF THE CLUB OFFICIALS ON DUTY.
