Tadcaster Pre-Match News
Hoping for another good result Gresley host their second home match of the season at the Moat Ground tomorrow against Tadcaster Albion (3pm) hoping to build on the excellent second half performance seen against Belper Town on Monday.
Trailing 2-0 at the break a fantastic performance in the 2nd half culminated in Dexter Morris Clarkes thrilling 95th minute winner following goals earlier in the half from Marytn Smyth (pen) and Kieran O’Connell.

Manager Gary Norton will be hoping for a similar result tomorrow but hopes to see his side start the game better than the last couple. “In all four games we have played so far we haven’t started well enough in my view.

We have been lethargic and lacked tempo and quality across the team. Yet in all the games we have performed much better in the second half of games compared to the first half which is something we can’t allow to continue. We are having to chase games as a result and it’s something we need to fix,” said Norton.

In team news defender Matt Roome will miss the game through an ankle injury picked up in the first half on Monday at Belper whilst Ryan King and Callum Riddell continue to recover from knee injuries.

Gresley from: Jack Livesey, Albie Lansdowne, Alex Steadman, Cam Steele, Dexter Morris-Clarke, Eric Graves, Jamie Barrett, Kane Jellyman, Kane Lee, Lucas Harrison, Luke Morgan, Mark Branch, Martin Smyth, Zaki Evans, Kieren O'Connell, Carl Slater.
