First Signings
Gresley Rovers manager Carl Abbott has announced the initial players who will form part of his new squad following his return to the club over the weekend. The club has confirmed that Dylan Hunniford and Nathan Banton have agreed to remain with Gresley Rovers for the upcoming season.

Commenting on the new signings, Abbott said, "It was clear that both Dylan and Nathan emerged from a very difficult season with immense credit, and they are highly regarded young players by our supporters and the club. I believe it is important that we build on what we can salvage from the previous season, and these two young players will be better for having gained that experience."...more
Abbott added:"We have now begun the process of assembling a group around them that has the right blend of youth and experience. Most importantly, this squad will be representative of our football club and its supporters."
Abbott also confirmed that he is currently in discussions with a number of additional targets and hopes to make further announcements in the coming days regarding the progress of his recruitment plans.
