Thank you Message - Geoff Tubey Memorial Fund Update
We are deeply moved to announce that thanks to the incredible generosity of Geoff Tubey's family, friends, and the wider Gresley Rovers community, we have raised a staggering £1,385 in his memory to date.
Following Geoff's passing on 22nd May and his remarkable 66-year dedication to our club, this outpouring of support truly reflects the impact he had on so many lives. Geoff expressed that anyone wishing to honor his memory should make a donation to the club he loved so dearly, and we are humbled by the response to his wishes.These funds will go towards ground maintenance - a fitting tribute to someone who devoted countless hours to maintaining our Moat Ground facility over many decades.
To everyone who has contributed to this memorial fund - thank you. Your generosity ensures that Geoff's legacy at Gresley Rovers will continue through the practical improvements he wanted for the club he served since he was just 10 years old.
