Belper pre-match news
Jon Newsome’s only doubt going in to tomorrow’s match at Belper is midfielder Craig Hopkins.
Hopkins is suffering from a hamstring problem and only did a little training on Thursday night.

In-form striker Neil Kitching, who picked up some bruised ribs at Bedworth on Monday, should be fit for tomorrow’s match.

Although this a preliminary round match, it is still an important match, Newsome has told his players to go out and enjoy themselves because it is still the FA Cup.

“We don’t get masses of money at this stage but, has the rounds go on, it can become a very big thing for the club financially,” he said. “The players know how important it is but they are under no added pressure. At the end of the day it is only a game of football. It’s perhaps more important than some of the games we play but we have to go out and enjoy it and the way to enjoy it is by winning it.

“Belper have started well in their league and so it will be a difficult match. It’s not an easy draw but we go into it full of confidence and we will have a go. And if they play to the best of their abilities I don’t see why we should have any problems.”
