Gresley’s forgotten men hit the comeback trail tonight – aiming for a slice of Vase glory.
Full back Martin Dick and former skipper Dean Page are in line for a first team recalls against Sutton Coldfield Town for an Evans Halshaw Cup game at Coles Lane (7.30pm).

Manager Frank Northwood said: “Martin has had long injury problems but he’s on his way back. He played 63 minutes for the reserves recently and did very well. He’ll be looking to push someone for a place in the side.”

“Dean went to Lichfield but he came back after playing only one game for them. He never really wanted to leave and we’re happy to have him back. He’s quality.

“Certainly having players like these fit again at this stage of the season gives us extra strength in the squad when we really need it for the run-in.”
