1910-1911 with 5 league goal (joint)

Known as 'Pip'

Had three spells at Gresley Rovers

Tom was born in Hucknall Torkard (now know as Hucknall), Nottinghamshire in 1887 and died in Burton-on-Trent in 1957.
He was a right-half for Gresley Rovers and turned out for Leicester Fosse in each of the wartime seasons except 1917-18.
His own goal settled the game with Stoke in April 1916 perhaps appropriately, as he'd spent three Southern League seasons with that club before the war.

This Overseal-raised player had also been on Derby's books as an amateur during 1907-08 (when he represented the newly-amalgamated Burton United in the Birmingham League) and had played for Walsall in the same competition the following season.
Tom's Leicester Fosse record: 36 WW1 apps; 1 goal.
