Since leaving Gresley Simon played for Stavely MW in 1991-1992 before moving down to London where he continued playing in local leagues. Simon played for Haringey Borough who play in the Minerva Spartan South Midlands Premier Division.from 1996-1999.
2001-2002 was the first season that Simon had not played regularly.
