Gresley
reserves' assistant boss Gary Norton was sent off
in an explosive Moat Ground finish to Saturday's 2-2
draw against Boldmere.
The
midfielder was shown the red card for head butting
an opponent in the 88th minute.
Tempers
had flared a minute earlier when Rovers defender Neil
Bateman was booked for a lunging late challenge on
John Brooks.
Gresley
took the lead in the 72nd minute when a James Lewsley
corner was headed across the six-yard box by Norton
for substitute Greg Smith to score from close in.
Greg Witherington struck twice in four minutes to
put the visitors in front but, down to 10 men, Rovers
were rescued in injury time by Tim Pole.
