Today we entertained Quorn FC in the Challenge Bowl Round One.

Luckily for us we still have our unbeaten record in the league still intact, after what I would call a bad day at the office.

First half we were not at the races we did'nt get close enough to people all over the pitch, we just simply did'nt have the desire or passion to work hard and earn the right to play our football.

I say every week in the changing you can have all the ability in the world but if your not willing to run and work hard then it's just a waste.

The most disappointing thing today was our team shape and organisation skills when we cross that white line it's like everything we have worked on in training since pre-season had gone out the window.

We did'nt get across the pitch quick enough, we did'nt close people down, we did'nt hold it up up front well enough and things just did'nt click at all.

After a few home truths at half-time we were marginally better second half, being 3-0 down after the first 45 we actually won the second half 1-0 purely because we put pressure on the ball and got tighter all over and we had the will to work individually within our units.

This is one of those games that you don't linger on and put it behind you and hopefully they will learn from their mistakes and move forward and work towards our next game at home to Banbury.
