Barwell vs Gresley Rovers

Rovers Reserves continued their winning streak with a 6th successive victory, this time 4-1 at Barwell. Ryan Yearsley put Rovers ahead in the 38th second, nipping in at the near post to head home after a well rehearsed corner found him in space.

Barwell equalised after 13 minutes when James Ash beat Mark Sheils in the Rovers goal with a looping header. Carl Timms restored the advantage on 63 mins finishing off a good move with a shot on the turn from 12 yards.

Timms turned provider to increase the advantage after he found Yearsley in space to score from a tight angle on 75 mins. Excellent work by Matt Moran almost resulted in a goal but his shot was blocked and Yearsley was on hand to complete his hatrick from close range.
