Gresley Rovers vs Coleshill Town
Gresley lost to Coleshill in the league cup 3-1 after taking a second half lead through a well worked goal by Tom Bartram. After the first half in which Gresley had most of the ball but failed to convert the few chances they had Coleshill played the second half the wind behind them and continued to play long balls into the Gresley box which resulted in them scoring three quick games.
Bob Corner after the game said: "We did not cope with the long balls in the second half and they got their tactics right by pushing three men forward. The team is taking shape and hopefully one or two players will be stepping up to have a game in the reserves".
