Hednesford Town vs Gresley Rovers
Unfortunately we came up against a team that I have no doubt are the best in this league, nine county players and two from pro clubs played some stunning football.
Only one down at half time and we had created chances I did not think at that time we were out of it, if we could nick a goal and no mistakes at the back we were in with a slight chance.
All the talk at half time went for nothing though as they came out all guns blazing.
Saying we were thrashed would not be fair and believe me we did not deserve to lose five but they were the better team. Gresley boys gave their best but it was not enough.
One thing I will say for the Opposition is thanks for their hospitality; they were warm and friendly and put themselves out to help.
