The youth team played Medina their second Herron Windows League game and once again were superb winning 3 - 1 with quality goals from Jordi Gough (2) and Matt Holmes.
The lads were superb and competed on every inch of the pitch and thoroughly deserved the win. They did themselves and Gresley Rovers proud with some great football and teamwork that speaks for itself.
What can I say? Played two won two. I think it's better to be top of the league and
that says it all? Let's keep the great form and momentum going. You've proved
your all worthy of what you've already achieved so keep it up. The hardest
decision of all is choosing the man of the match because it could be said of all of you but I think Nathan Holmes just edged it because of his battling in the second half.
Well done to all of you, you are a credit to me, Gresley Rovers and most of all yourselves.
